  • I love all animals. After losing my last Border Collie due to a weight restriction on the condominium I live in, I thought I would never have the heart to lose one again. Periodically I would stop by Petland and play with the puppies because it made me feel good. And then inevitably, one day, I came home with a miniature dachshund mixed with a rat terrier. She is the love of my life. The staff turnover is quite high, but they are all busy and working hard to keep the store stocked and the crates clean. The variety of food, toys, petcare and staff are the reason I buy my products there. I do think that they are expensive and I know I could get items cheaper at another store. I love to see the environment of new puppies and seeing kids happy every time I go in to pick something up.

  • I shy away from Pet Stores and prefer to work with Breeders. By accident we found a dog we fell in love with at Racine Petland. I would not classify this as a pet store. They truly go above and beyond. We are happy we stopped and found a forever home for our Aussie Poo "Remle". Thank You!
